The next day we visited the Los Angeles Arboretum. I had an ulterior motive for visiting here as it is known to be the home of many Red-Whiskerd Bulbuls. A bird that was introduced from the South Pacific and is now breeding in Southern California. The Arboretum was a very beautiful place and we really enjoyed reading about all the different trees and plants from all over the world. There were many Peacocks on the grounds and I did find many Bulbuls and was able to get a few pictures.
I drove down to Perris, California one evening for the dirt track races that I love to attend and we fought the traffic one evening and went to a baseball game over in Rancho Cucumonga.
Tomorrow we brave the LA traffic one more time and head north up the coast to Morro Bay, California.
